Connection and Video Streaming Issues

Occasionally, folks have problems with videos hanging up or getting stuck on a “Loading” screen. While there are many different reasons this might happen, here are a few things to check to help narrow down the issue.

  • Are there only specific videos that you're having problems with, or are you having trouble streaming multiple videos in your course? Try streaming videos from elsewhere on the site as well, such as in our Featured Videos blog. If you find that only one or two videos are hanging up, please do let us know which ones by pasting the URLs into an email to [email protected].

  • If you're having problems with all or most videos on the site, this could be an issue with your internet connection. Try unplugging your internet/wifi router for a minute and then plugging it back in. This is often enough to reset your signal so it is working at optimal levels, and many internet providers recommend doing this once a day as standard maintenance. Our site does tend to work best when you're getting download speeds of around 15Mbps. You can measure your connection at Speedtest.net

  • See our article on PegheadNation.com about Maximizing Your WiFi Connection for additional tips.

And by all means, please email us at [email protected] if you have recurring problems with videos.

Thank you!
